石渠寶笈續編(御書房),第四冊,頁1992-1993&*1.江兆申,〈唐寅畫金閶別意 卷〉,收入國立故宮博物院編,《吳派畫九十年展》(臺北:國立故宮博物院,1975年初版,1976年再版,1981年三版),頁302。 &* 此卷為唐寅(西元一四七0-一五二三年)為鄭儲 送行而作,鄭當時任蘇州地方官。起手一片霜林,林影深處,城樓隱約其中,蓋即蘇州城之閶門。城外木橋高拱,行人往來其上。送別者一行,散列於船埠,最前一人回首作揖,即鄭儲 。全幅大體皆用中鋒,行筆雖草草而實為悉力之作。畫山皴筆及款書筆意,與「函關雪霽」圖極近似,兩畫均約作於西元一五0七年。 &*This handscroll was painted on the occasion of the departure from Soochow of Cheng Ch’u-chih, who served there as an official. The work shows a deep, dark wintry grove where only the wall and roofs of a city—probably the Ch’ang Gate of Soochow—are partially visible. Beyond the wall is an elevated wooden bridge, over which several travelers pass. A group of well-wishers bid farewell to a traveler at a pier who turns around and bows—probably Cheng Ch’u-chih. The brushwork is generally centered. Though quick and free, it is also solid and strong.
